Tunetape

Tunetape chanter tape is purpose made for fine tuning notes on the pipe chanter. It offers minimal slippage with the correct amount of flexibility for accurate tuning. Tunetape is an aggressive pressure sensitive tape with strong resistance to heat, moisture, humidity and cold.

Each roll of Tunetape is 5 metres * 11mm, very thin and hardly felt on the chanter. It’s transparent and hardly noticed. Tunetape can be reapplied many times, leaves minimal residue and won’t damage your pipe chanter or clog the holes.

Tunetape is strong, flexible and movements to the smallest millimeter are possible. By adding pressure when reapplying increases Tunetapes aggressive hold and once in place, resistance to movement is strong. Risk of any tape slippage while piping is minimal.

Using Tunetape offers more flexibility when tuning as taping a chanter is a practical method in creating a truly accurate scale, not one that is just close enough.
